Keynote Speaker

Our greatest strengths become our greatest limitations when they stop being choices and start running on autopilot.

Rachel helps your people keep their strengths as strengths — even under pressure. So they stay clear, work well together, and choose their response instead of reacting.

Your people are under pressure. Pressure changes how they think.

Communication gets harder. Small things turn into conflict. Caring people take on too much. Good leaders start reacting instead of leading.

The habits that make them great — caring, high standards, taking responsibility — quietly turn into the habits that burn them out. Not because anything's wrong with them. Because they stopped choosing them — and the habits started running them.

Rachel helps people notice this happening — before it takes over.

Organisations don't need people with more strengths. They need the strengths they already have to stay strengths under pressure.

There's a space between what happens and what your people do next.

What happens the pause What you choose

Most of the time they move straight through it on autopilot. Rachel helps them find it — because that space is where choice lives.

What your people leave with

Not "inspired for a day." Something they can use on Monday.

  • Catch themselves reacting — and choose a better response
  • Notice when pressure is shrinking their thinking
  • Keep their strengths as strengths, instead of tipping into burnout
  • Communicate clearly when it's hardest
  • Understand each other, instead of just tolerating each other

The idea underneath

Then Rachel shows them why.

Once your people feel the shift, they want to understand it. Rachel gives them a simple, memorable way to see why we run on autopilot — and how to take the wheel back.

It's what turns a good keynote into something people are still using months later.

Why Rachel

Thirty years of holding a room — and rarely an easy one.

Rachel started in primary and special-needs classrooms — in Australia and in England — where her whole approach began: noticing difference, and what makes each person tick. Over the years she's taught right across the range, from little ones to senior students, and in both public and private schools.

She ran drug-prevention programs through Life Education, speaking to students, parents and Rotary groups. More recently she's spoken for libraries, community and zero-waste events, and council and business audiences, and run workshops and webinars online.

A different room every time. Reading who's in front of her and adapting on the spot is the skill she's practised longest — and it's exactly what she brings to a keynote.

"Rachel had everyone hooked from start to finish. She talks with encouragement about mental roadblocks and self-doubt, and reassures the audience with powerful content and insight. We are all still reflecting on Rachel's words and the skills imparted by this incredible speaker."
